Students can take just one class if they want. Those seeking the HBI Certified Birth Assistant certificate must complete the following:
1. T111 Labor Support
2. T151 Birth Assistant Training
3. T153 Midwife Terminology and Charting
4. CPR Certification
5. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification 6. Experience Requirement of attending 3 out-of-hospital births as assistant
